Product Information

The product of three years in consulation with the famous Bridge Room's Ross Lusted, this sea salt is cold smoked over Australian Red Gum wood for 72 hours by Pialligo Estate Smokehouse in Canberra.

Mix with soft butter to spread liberally onto barbecue corn or a good sourdough, sprinkle onto a fresh tomato salad or vegetables before grilling, finish a perfectly cooked steak or even over popcorn.

About the Maker

The Olsson family have been making solar sea salt since the 1950s and is the oldest family owned and operated sea salt maker in Australia with a history in Australia dating back to 1878.

Through the process called 'solar evaporation' using only the sun and wind, Olsson's sea salt flakes are sourced from two of the world's most pristine oceans - The Great Barrier Reef in Queensland and The Great Australian Bight in South Australia.

The end result is an exquisite all natural sea salt free from chemical processes that tastes of the ocean.
